Leaving bright and early tomorrow

Flights Are Booked!!!

Well that was stressful, but we finally have our plane tickets!!! Cost more than I expected, but I guess that is part of having kids!! Oh well, we will be headed to the other side of the world in a couple weeks now. Won't be long before we actually have Jadalyn in our arms now!

On another note, this weekend is our 12 th anniversay. We are going out to eat and to finish last minute shopping. We received several gift cards and cash. I already ordered her pack and play, infant carrier, and a little tyke car (a girl needs her own set of wheels!). The pack and play arrived today. I can't wait to set it up and look at the pink cuteness!! The rest of the stuff should be here next week.

Baby Shower May 23, 2010

Jason's family gave us a shower Sunday. It was so much fun! I can't believe how close we are to leaving for China, but we have everything we need. I used our gift cards to order her pack n play yesterday. It should be here this week. I am posting several pictures of the wonderful gifts we received! I can't thank everyone enough for everything. Little Jadalyn is going to be so loved.

Baby Shower May 22, 2010

Alanna had a shower for my family. Everything was so cute...complete with Chinese food! She even had an adoption baby game to play. I still can't believe that I had a baby shower. It is a surreal feeling. Just looking at the picture of the cake makes me want to go get a piece!! Well here are a few more photos. Look at the great gifts Jadalyn received! Baby Shower

Thanks everyone! I love everything. I am so grateful to have family and friends who are as excited about bring Jadalyn home as I am. I will post more pictures tomorrow.

Quick Update

Lots of things have happened!! We should be getting travel arrangements (TA) any day now. Our travel date has changed because of dragon boat festival, so we are leaving around June 17th now. I have half the house painted, and I think I will get some more painting done next week. I have two baby showers this weekend!! Then May 30th is our 12th anniversary. Everything is going quickly. We have our visas and our update I-171. All the paperwork is ready now. As soon as we receive our travel arrangements then we can book plane tickets. This weekend I am going to try to finish cleaning up Jadalyn's room. I will post pictures as soon as I get this done. I am very ready for it to be clean! I will also post pictures of my showers!!!
